The short of it

I grew up in a lower-middle-class family in Punjab, India — a home with just enough, where I learned to dream big but never past what I could first prove to myself. I was a studious kid with a habit I never outgrew: needing to understand how things actually work. I've been building computers since I was nine, and I still do — a lifelong Windows tinkerer who's since made a home in the Apple ecosystem too.

Astrology was part of the air I breathed. The elders around me leaned on it often, so I grew up easy with it — even as I grew up distant from a lot of people.

There were stretches where I was genuinely lost. I had help all around me and still couldn't find my footing. What I needed was direction — the kind that comes from those quiet, unprovable things that somehow still shape our lives. So I started building the thing I wished I'd had.

I wanted a place where you could set down your most intimate thoughts and know that no one — not even me — has any way of reading them.

That became Æshar. Something for people like you, and like me.

Beyond the work

Music, gaming, working out, reading. Off-screen I'm usually mid–PC build, at the gym, or deep in a book.

• Bachelor's in Pharmacy
• Two PG diplomas — Pharmaceutical QA/QC and Food QA/QC
• Worked across logistics, customer service, the trades, and teaching
• Building and repairing computers since age 9 — still a Windows expert and Apple-ecosystem adopter
